about our therapist

Carol didn’t begin her career in the therapy room. She started out in advertising and branding, helping organisations find their voice and tell their stories well. Over time, through her own journey of self-discovery, she felt drawn to something deeper, not just how stories are told, but how they are lived, felt, and carried. This growing curiosity about people’s inner worlds eventually led her to psychotherapy and counselling, where she found a sense of purpose and calling.

Today, Carol works with adults and couples navigating anxiety, depression, stress, low self-worth, emotion regulation, relationship and marital challenges, and significant life transitions. She supports individuals seeking greater clarity and self-understanding, as well as couples who may feel stuck in painful patterns, emotionally disconnected, or struggling to rebuild trust after hurt or betrayal.

Her therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in compassion. Carol believes therapy is not about fixing what is “wrong”, but about creating a safe and respectful space to slow down, feel understood, and make sense of what’s happening, both within yourself and in your relationships. She works at a pace that honours each client’s readiness, believing that meaningful change unfolds through attunement, curiosity, and care.

Having worked with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds, Carol is attentive to the ways culture, family, and lived experiences shape how people understand themselves and relate to others. She offers sessions in both English and Mandarin, allowing clients to express themselves in the language that feels most natural and emotionally resonant.

Outside the therapy room (or when she’s not immersed in another training), Carol enjoys spending time with her family, often with her cat close by, gently insisting on being part of whatever is happening.
